Having established a clear brand direction with its ‘Made To Be Different’ campaigns, Lee Cooper challenged us to push it further and establish a new creative hook for its 2017 Spring/Summer campaign.

Having established a clear brand direction with its ‘Made To Be Different’ campaigns, Lee Cooper challenged us to push it further and establish a new creative hook for its 2017 Spring/Summer campaign. Not only did it have to produce beautiful content for a global audience, it also had to firmly reinforce the brand’s core foundations of Britishness, music and London life.

Using the fashion industry’s 2017 trend of ‘Audacity’ as our foundation, we quickly established a creative territory of rebellion for Lee Cooper, using it as a kick off point to showcase the brand’s heritage and personality.

With London and rebellious youth culture going hand in hand, the ‘Release Your Rebel’ campaign is a fly-on the wall look at youth culture and what it means to break away from convention. The S/S17 concept hones in on gritty urban backdrops, music, and what it means to be young by using the experiences of a group of friends out to tell the story in their own inimitable style. From the streets they walk, to the graffiti they create, music they see and playful havoc they wreak with each other, we see an intimate portrait of their day and the style they share.
